Making Good Use of Spare Time

In my younger years, I was pretty carefree as I spent my nights going to parties with friends. Over the years, things changed. Some settled down while others took things to another level. I still liked getting out of the house after work so I got into green jobs training. I’d heard about volunteer opportunities and figured this would be a nice way to build up some good karma.

The first order was to wake up early Saturday morning for check-in. Though I knew no one was trying to torture me, that’s how I felt and I almost quit on the spot when I overslept. Then over the weeks, I had a new self-esteem as I helped to make changes in underserved communities. My priorities changed and I even got a new set of friends to hang out with. They’re like me where they want to do more than just go to work every week, they want to make a difference.

I thought when I got my ultimate bundle pack through my communications company that I could get online at any time and save money. Turns out that I was back where I started but only with a lighter wallet. That’s when a friend told me about the advantages of green hosting.

Since I now work at home, I was leery about taking any chances, especially since the bulk of my job was to submit large files without interruption. So I figured that my odds are 50/50 now so it can’t get any worse when it comes to a server speed.

Before, I would submit things 24 hours before the deadline to make sure that the client received everything in a timely manner. Lately I’ve had so much work that I’ve pushed it close but with the new host, everything is smooth and fast.
